# How to install MetaMask and create a wallet
1. To install MetaMask, access the link below and click ‘Add to Chrome’ to install ‘MetaMask’ in Chrome.

2\. After completing the MetaMask installation, a welcome page will open in a new tab. Click the ‘Get Started’ button on that page to start creating a wallet.
3\. If you are a new user, select ‘Create a Wallet’ on the right. If you already have a MetaMask wallet, select ‘Import wallet’ on the left and proceed.
4\. Read the privacy policy and select ‘I Agree’ to proceed.
5\. Set a password according to the password generation rules, read the Terms of Use, click the check box, and click the ‘Create’ button.
6\. After watching a short video on the Secure your wallet page, click the ‘Next’ button.
7\. Click the lock part of the screen and confirm the secret backup phrase.
\*As long as there is a secret backup phrase, anyone can access the wallet, so it is recommended not to share it with others, but to write it on a separate piece of paper and keep it.
8\. On the Confirm your Secret Recovery Phrase page, select the seed phrases in order and click the Confirm button to complete the wallet creation.
# How to add BSC network
1. In MetaMask, click the Change Network button in the upper right corner to activate the network window. Then, click the ‘Add Network’ button at the bottom of the network window.
2\. On the Add Network page, enter the following information in each input box and click the ‘Save’ button.

# How to import tokens
To use ELYFI, you need to import tokens that can be used in ELYFI into the wallet you just created. There are two main ways to import tokens. The way to do it is the same, except for ELFI tokens, ELYFI Governance tokens.
1\. Import ELFI Token

* Make sure that MetaMask is connected to **Ethereum Mainnet**. After clicking on ‘import tokens’ on MetaMask, go to the Custom Token tab. Then, enter the address below in the token contract address field and add the token.

# How to transfer tokens
In order to deposit/withdraw or stake in the ELYFI protocol, you must have specific tokens in your wallet. Check the usage of each token, and keep it in your wallet as needed.
* Where to use DAI, USDT, BUSD, etc.
* Tokens such as DAI, USDT, and BUSD are required to ‘deposit’ to the ELYFI protocol.
* Where to use EL or ELFI
* EL Token: Required to use EL Staking.
* ELFI Tokens: Required to use ELFI staking.
* Where to use Ether (ETH)
* Ether (ETH) is used as a means of payment for network usage because the Ethereum network is used whenever actions such as deposit/withdrawal and reward token receipt and staking are performed.

# How to bridge ELFI btw Ethereum and BSC
This guide explains how to transfer\* ELFI tokens between networks(BSC and Ethereum). The ‘Portal Token Bridge’ provided by Wormhole is used for token transfer between networks.
* You should pay a network usage fee, so please prepare enough coins (ETH, BNB, etc.) to be used in each network.
* This guide also explains how to move ELFI tokens from Ethereum to BSC. In the opposite case, the process is similar, so please refer to this.
\*To be precise, when using the Token Bridge, the existing token is locked in the smart contract provided by the Wormhole Protocol, and a new Wrapped Token is minted on the target chain. In this guide, this series of processes will be referred to as ‘transfer’ for convenience.

8\. In case of using metamask extension, the wallet is automatically connected during wallet connection process of ‘2. Target’. After checking the target network, token information, and receiving wallet address, click the ‘NEXT’ button.
9\. If you click the ‘NEXT’ button before, a metamask pop-up window will appear asking you to change the network to the source chain. Click ‘Switch network’.
10\. Click the ‘APPROVE n Token’ button to activate the metamask pop-up window.
11\. Click the Confirm button in the Metamask pop-up window.
12\. Click the ‘TRANSFER’ button to launch the pop-up window.
13\. After checking the contents in the pop-up window that has been executed, click the ‘CONFIRM’ button.
14\. In the activated metamask, click the Confirm button.
15\. When transaction processing is complete, a metamask pop-up window will appear requesting to change the network to the target chain. Click ‘Switch network’.
16\. If you change the network, the REDEEM button becomes active. Click the button to activate MetaMask.
17\. Click the Confirm button in the Metamask pop-up window.
18\. If the transaction is successfully processed, you will see ELFI tokens in your wallet.

# How to speed up
In ELYFI, actions such as ‘deposit’, ‘withdrawal’, ‘staking’, and ‘unstaking’ are to send a transaction to the Ethereum network. In order to send the transaction, you have to pay the Ethereum network fee (gas fee), and if the network is congested due to a large number of transactions, the transmitted transaction is delayed. Through the ‘acceleration’ function provided by MetaMask, you can make transactions faster by paying more for gas.
1. First, run the MetaMask extension and click the ‘Activity’ tab.
2\. Click the ‘Speed Up button in the pending transaction transfer.
3\. After clicking the ‘High’ button, check the transaction fee. Then, if you click the ‘Save’ button, the processing speed of the transaction will be faster.

# How to stake
In the case of ELFI staking, depending on which network ELFI tokens you hold in your wallet, you can stake the ELFI tokens on the Ethereum network or the BSC network. Therefore, **you should select the network on which you want to stake the tokens from the connected wallet** and proceed with staking.

# ELYFI Governance
### What is ELYFI Governance?
ELYFI governance is a decision-making method that decentralizes the ELYFI ecosystem. Anyone can discuss in community channels such as forums and participate in voting through voting contracts. The ELYFI ecosystem changes and develops through the discussion and voting of the governance participants.
### Why do we need governance in ELYFI?
ELYFI seeks to operate "decentralized" under the "ELYFI Protocol (rules)". In order to break free from being run by the arbitrary decision of a particular group, ELYFI must be run and managed by people who agree with and empathize with its values. And for this, a consensus decision-making method is needed so that governance participants can directly or indirectly change ELYFI. That is 'Governance'.
Currently, ELYFI governance is in its infancy and there are insufficient participants to achieve sufficient decentralization. But ultimately, ELYFI will be operated and developed solely through consensus among the governance participants. To this end, we plan to continuously improve governance together with the participants.
### What can be decided through governance?
Governance participants can decide everything related to the ELYFI protocol and governance. ELYFI Protocol is a blockchain-based decentralized asset-backed loan protocol. Unlike the existing DeFi, it provides a loan service with real-world real-world assets as collateral, and the funds come from virtual assets deposited in ELYFI. In this regard, the governance is responsible for operations and risk management during the process from liquidity supply to loan execution. For the development of the ELYFI protocol, the existing method may need to be improved, and new functions and logic may be added. These decisions can be proposed and reflected through governance. In ELYFI governance, discussion and opinion polls are conducted off-chain, and the final decision-making process, voting, is conducted on-chain.

# Off-chain Governance
Off-chain governance is the starting point of ELYFI governance. Governance participants are free to write proposals such as improvements to the ELYFI protocol, and ask members for discussion and opinion polls. Before voting, on-chain governance participants refer to off-chain governance discussions and poll results.
For off-chain governance, you can typically participate in [ELYFI Forum](https://forum.elyfi.world/). We propose the forum as one of the off-chain governance, but do not limit the format. This means anyone can build a new off-chain governance. However, for the rapid growth of governance, we have proposed [ELYFI Forum](https://forum.elyfi.world/) and are waiting for feedback from many participants.
### Why does it operate outside the blockchain?
The reason we do not record off-chain governance on the blockchain is that most activities that take place on the blockchain have costs. One of the values that ELYFI considers important is 'decentralization'. In order for ELYFI to operate in a decentralized manner, active participation of governance participants is required, and ELYFI believes that these activities ultimately contribute to the development of ELYFI. To this end, ELYFI must provide an environment where participants can freely express their opinions. Therefore, final decisions are made on-chain, but other activities are carried out off-chain, allowing community members to participate in governance at no cost.
### What are the qualifications to participate in ELYFI Forum?
Anyone who joins the forum and has a certain trust level can participate in off-chain governance.
# On-chain Governance
On-chain governance is a space or process that completes off-chain governance and decides whether to pass on a proposal that requires a final decision. Currently, on-chain governance exists only for NFT Approvement Proposals (NAP).
### The right to vote
In order for users to participate in various decision-making of ELYFI through on-chain governance, they must deposit ELFI tokens in the staking pool. By depositing ELFI tokens, you can receive Staked ELFI tokens(SELFI, voting rights) equal to the deposit amount. Users can influence the protocol through voting in ELYFI governance based on their SELFI tokens (voting rights) and voting rights delegated by other participants.
* Currently, the minimum number of SELFI tokens required to participate in voting is 10,000.
* Voting rights can be obtained by staking ELFI tokens through related contracts, and it provides convenience more easily on the "ELYFI Website" and "ELYSIA App".
### NAP On-chain Cycle
In order to obtain a loan from the ELYFI protocol, lending companies must obtain the signature of the deliberation committee from the NFT\* they own. The role of the Deliberation Committee is given to the governance contract, and the NFT of the lending companies cannot be used as collateral in the ELYFI protocol without the signature of the committee.
In order to receive the signature of the committee, the submitted NFT Approvement Proposals (NAP) must be passed in the on-chain governance. NFTs that satisfy the voting conditions are automatically signed by the Deliberation Committee after a one-day waiting period.
In ELYFI Governance, no loan can be executed from the protocol unless a vote on the signature of the NFT is passed. In this way, participants control the liquidity of ELYFI through governance and manage collateral risk, thereby contributing to the stable operation of ELYFI.
\*Currently, the NFT type that can be used as collateral is Asset Bond Token(ABToken).

## Purpose of the forum
The ELYFI forum is a vital part of the ELYFI governance system and is intended to nurture its ecosystem. As part of the ‘Off-chain cycle’, the forum is a place where participants are free to propose and discuss initiatives, and resources and information are shared so that anyone can play an active role in the development and growth of the ELYFI ecosystem.

## Group
* **General User Group**: All users belong to this group, and Trust Level is divided according to the level of community activity.
* **Lending-Company Group**: As a collateral group, users in the group can create NFT Approvement Proposals (NAP).
* **Helper Group**: A helper group that helps forum operations for off-chain governance.
## Trust Level
* **Trust Level 0**: All new members receive this rating.
* **Trust Level 1**: Members with the corresponding trust level can reply to the topic.
* **Trust Level 2**: Members with this trust level can write ELYFI Improvement Proposals (ELYIP).
* **Trust Level 3**: There is no big difference in authority compared to Trust Level 2. However, you can be considered a trusted member because you can only get promoted to Trust Level 3 only if you are active in the forum.
* **Trust Level 4**: Some of the members with Trust Level 3 may be promoted to Trust Level 4 by some helpers. Compared to Trust Level 3, there is no significant difference in authority.
## Introduction to Roles and Permissions by Category
ELYFI Forum operates under three categories: NAP, ELYIP, and Notice.
### NFT Approvement Proposals (NAP) Category
The NAP category is a space for submitting and reviewing NFT Approvement Proposals. It consists of three subcategories: RFV, Verification, and Archive.
* **Request for Proposals (RFV)**
This is a category in which the lending company group prepares the NAP. In order to obtain a loan from the ELYFI protocol, the lending companies writes a proposal to approve the NFT that they own as collateral that can be used in ELYFI. The proposer must write a proposal according to the NFT template, and the Helper reviews whether the proposal is written according to the template and there are no typos, assigns a NAP number, and submits the proposal to the Verification stage.
* **Verification**
This is the stage where community members verify the NAP. Members with a trust level of Trust Level 1 or higher can discuss the proposal and participate in polls. The verification period of the NAP is one day, after which the off-chain governance related to the NFT ends, and the on-chain voting process begins. Also, the thread is moved to the Archive category by the helper.
* **Archive**
This is a category to record discussions and poll results related to proposals.
### ELYFI Improvement Proposals(ELYIP)
The ELYIP category is a space to submit suggestions for improvement of the ELYFI ecosystem and receive feedback from community members. It consists of three subcategories: RFCP, Comment and Poll, and Archive.
* **Request for Comment and Poll (RFCP)**
This is a space to write a proposal for improvement of the ELYFI protocol or the ecosystem. Any member of Trust Level 2 or higher can write a proposal. The proposer must write a proposal according to the ELYIP template, and the Helper reviews whether the proposal is written according to the template and there are no typos, assigns an ELYIP number, and submits the proposal in the Comment and Poll stage.
* **Comment and Poll**
Community members verify ELYIP. Members with Trust Level 1 or higher can discuss the proposal and participate in polls. Discussion and polling periods are up to one month. Since there is no on-chain governance of ELYIP in the current version, the governance process is completed by the Helper responding to the \[Notice > ELYIP Response] category for proposals that have received high interest and consent from community members.
* **Archive**
This is a category to record discussions and poll results related to proposals.

BUSD 예치에 대해 어려워 하는 사용자가 많아, BUSD 를 메타마스크에 옮기는 방법 중 하나를 설명하겠습니다.
#### 주의사항
* 해당 가이드는 여러 방법 중 상대적으로 빠른 전송 속도와 낮은 수수료가 드는 XRP 를 이용하여 설명합니다. 다른 방법으로도 BUSD를 메타마스크로 옮길 수 있으니 편한 방법으로 진행하시면 됩니다.

1\. 바이낸스 사이트에 로그인한 후, 오른쪽 상단에 있는 \[Wallet > Overview] 버튼을 클릭하여 페이지를 이동합니다.

### 데이터 검증 투표
검증하고자 하는 제안서를 선택하여 데이터 검증을 해주세요 . 제안서를 확인한 후 엘리파이 프로토콜에 해당 NFT 를 담보물로 승인할 것인지 아닌지를 제안서 상단에 위치한 Poll 에 투표하시면 됩니다.
# Tally 투표 가이드(이더리움)
이 가이드는 이더리움 ELYFI 거버넌스 참가자를 위한 온체인 투표 설명 가이드입니다.
# 지갑 연결 방법
1. 페이지 우상단의 connect wallet 버튼을 누릅니다.
2\. 연결할 지갑을 선택합니다. (해당 가이드에서는 메타마스크로 진행합니다.)
3\. 지갑 연결이 완료되면 연결된 계정의 주소와 현재 설정된 네트워크를 확인하실 수 있습니다. 이 때 주소는 이더리움 메인 네트워크여야 합니다.
# 투표권 획득 방법
1. 먼저 엘리파이 사이트에 접속해서 **연결한 지갑이 이더리움 네트워크와 연결**돼 있는지 확인한 후에 ELFI 토큰을 스테이킹합니다.
* 엘리파이 거버넌스에 참여하기 위해서는 엘리파이 토큰을 스테이킹 풀에 스테이킹해야 합니다. 스테이킹한 수량만큼 staked ELFI (sELFI)토큰을 받을 수 있으며, sELFI 토큰 1개는 1개의 투표권을 의미합니다.

**2. 획득한 sELFI 토큰은 메타마스크에서도 확인할 수 있습니다. 메타마스크를 활성화하고 하단의 'import tokens' 버튼을 클릭합니다.**
* 이 때 연결한 지갑은 **Ethereum Mainnet**과 연결돼 있어야 합니다.
**3. '맞춤형 토큰' 탭을 클릭하고 '토큰 계약 주소' 입력창에 'sELFI 토큰 주소'를 입력합니다. 그러면 '토큰 기호' 입력창에서 자동으로 입력된 sELFI를 확인할 수 있습니다. 그런 다음 하단의 'Add Custom Token' 버튼을 클릭합니다.**

**4. 하단의 'Import Tokens' 버튼을 클릭합니다. 그러면 메타마스크에서 sELFI 토큰을 볼 수 있습니다.**
**5. Delegate vote 버튼을 클릭하여 팝업창을 활성화시킵니다.**
**6. 팝업창이 뜨면 'Delegate to self' 버튼을 클릭하여 본인에게 투표권을 위임하는 과정을 진행합니다.**
* ELFI 토큰 스테이킹을 통해 **s**taked ELFI 토큰(sELFI)을 획득한 후에 최초 1회의 투표권 위임 과정을 진행해야 합니다. 투표권 위임은 '본인에게 위임(Delegate to self)'하거나 '다른 지갑에 위임(Delegate to an address)'할 수 있습니다. 본인이 직접 투표를 하기 위해서는 본인에게 투표권을 위임(Delegate to self)해야 합니다.
**7. 메타마스크에서 'Confirm' 버튼을 눌러서 트랜잭션을 전송합니다.**
**8. 사이트 하단에 알림 메시지로 전송한 트랜잭션의 완료 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다.**
**9. 트랜잭션이 완료되면, 위임 상태를 보여주는 'Delegating to' 영역에서 투표 상태가 'Undelegated' 에서 'Self Delegation' 으로 변경됩니다.**
* Delegation 상태는 하단에 공유한 링크에 본인지갑주소를 넣고 브라우저에 검색하면 확인할 수 있습니.

\*ELFI 스테이킹을 통해 새로 획득한 SELFI 투표권이 있으면 다시 위의 투표 위임 과정을 진행함으로써 투표에 반영할 수 있습니다.
# 투표 방법
1. **메인 화면의 Proposals 섹터에서 현재 진행중인 투표를 확인하실 수 있습니다. 제안서 상세페이지에 들어가기 위해 현재 진행중인 제안을 클릭하세요.**
**2. 제안서 상세페이지에서 제안서에 대한 내용을 읽어보고 우상단에 위치한 'Vote' 버튼을 클릭하여 투표 팝업창을 활성화시켜주세요.**
**3. 해당 제안서에 찬성(For)하는지 반대(Against)하는지 또는 기(Abstain)하는지 선택하시고 Submit 버튼을 클릭하면 메타마스크로 팝업창이 활성화됩니다.**
**4. 메타마스크에서 Confirm 버튼을 클릭하면 트랜잭션이 전송됩니다.**
**5. 트랜잭션이 완료되면 오른쪽에 위치한 'Votes' 섹션에서 투표 반영 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다.**
\*직접 투표하기 위해서는 '본인에게 위임한 투표권의 수량'과 '다른 지갑으로부터 위임 받은 투표권'의 합이 10,000개 이상이어야 합니다.
# 투표권 위임 방법
보유한 sELFI 토큰(투표권)이 10,000개 미만이어서 투표 참여 조건을 만족하지 못 하는 상황의 경우에도 본인이 보유한 투표권을 다른 지갑에 위임함으로써 거버넌스에 참여할 수 있습니다. 구체적인 투표권 위임 과정은 다음과 같습니다.
1. **Delegate vote 버튼을 클릭하여 팝업창을 활성화시킵니다.**
**2. 팝업창이 뜨면 Delegate to an address 버튼을 클릭하세요.**
**3. 위임하고자 하는 주소를 입력하고 'Delegate votes' 버튼을 클릭하여 메타마스크를 실행시켜주세요.**
**4. 메타마스크에서 'Confirm' 버튼을 눌러서 트랜잭션을 전송합니다.**
**5. 사이트 하단에 알림 메시지로 전송한 트랜잭션의 완료 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다.**

4\. 하단의 'Import Tokens' 버튼을 클릭합니다. 그러면 메타마스크에서 sELFI 토큰을 확인할 수 있습니다.
# 투표 방법
1\. ELYFI(BSC) 공간에서 현재 진행중인 투표를 확인하실 수 있습니다. 제안서 상세 페이지에 들어가기 위해 현재 진행중인 제안서를 클릭해주세요.
\*투표에 참여하기 위해서는 **최소 10,000 sELFI(BSC)**를 보유하고 있어야 합니다.
2\. 상세 페이지에 올라온 제안서 내용을 확인한 뒤, For(찬성), Against(반대), Abstain(기권) 중 하나를 선택한 후 Vote 버튼을 클릭해주세요.
\*오른쪽에 Information 중, Snapshot 항목의 숫자는 Block Height를 의미합니다. 해당 타임스탬프 때 보유하고 있는 sELFI(BSC) 토큰의 수량을 기준으로 투표권이 결정됩니다.
3\. Confirm vote 팝업창에서 투표 내용을 최종확인한 뒤, Vote 버튼을 눌러주세요. 그러면 메타마스크 팝업창이 활성화됩니다.
4\. SIGN 버튼을 클릭하면 투표 결과에 반영됩니다.
5\. 본인의 투표결과는 Votes 섹터와 Current results 섹터에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.
