# How to delegate voting rights to another wallet

Even if you do not meet the voting participation conditions because you have less than 10,000 SELFI tokens (voting rights), you can participate in governance by delegating your voting rights to another wallet. The specific voting process is as follows:

1. **Click the Delegate vote button to activate the pop-up window.**

**2. When the pop-up window appears, click the Delegate to an address button.**

**6. When the transaction is completed, the delegated wallet address is displayed in the 'Delegating to' area that shows the delegation status.**

* You can check the status of delegation by entering your wallet address in the link shared at the bottom and searching for it in your browser.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://guide-v1.elyfi.world/governance/on-chain-vote/delegation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
